Wie jedes Jahr um diese Zeit steigt die Spannung: Am 8. Mai 2026 wird in der art bv Berchtoldvilla die diesjährige Förderpreisausstellung eröffnet!
Das Thema „A Line A Day“ hat sich als tolle Quelle für die künstlerische Fantasie erwiesen. Ich bin mit einem Experiment beteiligt, das unter besonderen Umständen entstanden ist. Was das ist, darf noch nicht verraten werden. Der/die PreisträgerIn des art bv Förderpreises wird bei der Vernissage bekanntgegeben. Danach dürfen wir unsere Werke namentlich zeigen.
Ich freue mich schon auf eine sprühende Ausstellung mit meinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen und halte uns allen die Daumen!

As is the case every year around this time, the excitement is building: On the 8th of May 2026 the annual art bv spnsorship award exhibition will open at the Berchtoldvilla!
The theme "A Line A Day" has proven to be a fantastic source for artistic imagination. I am participating with an experiment that was created under special circumstances. What that is, I can't reveal just yet. The winner of the art bv sponsorship award will be announced at the opening. Afterwards, we will be allowed to display our works by name.
I am looking forward to a vibrant exhibition with my colleagues. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

About me

Ich bin freischaffende Malerin, Karikaturistin und Biologin.

Unter allen malerischen Techniken bin ich vor allem der ungeheuren Lebendigkeit von Aquarell und Zeichnung verfallen. Diese setze ich nicht zuletzt für meine große Liebe, die politische Karikatur, ein.
Es gibt für mich nur wenige Ausdrucksmittel, mit denen man sich treffender zu all den Missständen in der Welt äußern könnte. Wenn ein Denkanstoß seinen Zweck erfüllt - also zum Denken anstößt, haben wir alle schon gewonnen.

I am a self-employed painter, caricaturist and biologist.
Among all the available techniques I am addicted to the incredible spirit innate to watercolour and drawing, which I put to good use when working in an area I love dearly, my political caricatures and cartoons.
There are only few means of expression which allow you to comment on the bad things in the world with more acuteness. If a thought-provoking impulse does just that - provoke thought - we all win.
